A CNC press brake is a machine tool that bends sheet metal or plate using a punch pressed into a V-die. The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) system automates the back-gauge position, ram depth, and bending sequence — replacing manual setups with precise, repeatable, programmable bending programs.
Rise Tek Machinery sells three types of CNC press brakes in Canada: hydraulic press brakes (Dener and Haco, 60–600+ tons), servo-electric press brakes (Dener, up to 110 tons), and ball screw press brakes (Dener). All include Canadian installation, operator training, and ongoing service from our Mississauga, Ontario base.
For mild steel, use: Tonnage = (575 × t² × L) / V — where t is material thickness in mm, L is bending length in metres, and V is die opening in mm. Add 20–30% safety margin above your calculated peak tonnage. Our team can run tonnage calculations for your specific materials and part sizes.
Hydraulic press brakes use oil-pressure cylinders — available to 2,000+ tons, best for heavy plate and stainless. Servo-electric press brakes use electric motors driving ball screws — 60–70% more energy-efficient, no hydraulic oil, ±0.01mm repeatability, but limited to roughly 110 tons. For most Canadian shops running mild steel and stainless under 10mm, both work well — servo-electric wins on precision and running cost.
Choose based on the longest part you regularly produce, with some headroom for future work. Common sizes are 2500mm, 3000mm, 3200mm, and 4000mm. A 3000mm bed is the Canadian shop standard — covers most structural, enclosure, and HVAC work without excessive footprint.
Yes. Every CNC press brake sold by Rise Tek Machinery includes delivery, machine installation and levelling, electrical connection, operator training on the CNC controller, and first-job programming support. Our team covers all major Canadian markets from our Mississauga, Ontario location.
Most Dener and Haco press brakes supplied by Rise Tek use the Delem DA-66T touchscreen controller — a modern system with 3D graphical bend simulation, automatic tonnage calculation, springback compensation, and USB program import/export. The ESA S660 is available as an alternative on select models.
Press brake punches, V-dies, gooseneck sets, and accessories for Dener and Haco machines (European standard tooling) are available at Machinist's Vault (machinistsvault.com) — Rise Tek's parts and tooling partner. Most tooling ships within 2–5 business days across Canada.
Every press brake we sell includes a 1 year warranty, backed by up to one year of complimentary after-sale service. Our own technicians handle warranty work across Canada from our Mississauga base, and common wear and spare parts are held in Canadian inventory so a warranty repair does not wait on an overseas shipment.
Typical lead time is 12 to 16 weeks from order to installation, which covers build, ocean freight, customs clearance, delivery and on-site commissioning. Machines already in Canadian stock can move considerably faster — ask us what is on the floor before you plan around the full lead time, and we will confirm current availability for your tonnage and bed length.
