VERTEX 3H
Hydraulic 3-roll with planetary gearbox powering top & bottom rolls, hydraulic drop-end, and hydraulic side & bottom roll movement. The 3H 1550×250 lists .47″ pre-bending at the ×5 top-roll-diameter condition, at 61″ working length in 34,000 PSI yield steel. Check the selected model row before sizing a job.

Planet reducer driven with motorised back roll adjustment. The most upgradeable VERTEX — optional NC control, plastic-coated rolls for Alucobond, profile bending sets, and variable speed. Central lubrication standard. CSA + UL certified.

Enhanced frame rigidity with ductile iron castings and two-roll gearbox drive. Wire grooves standard for rod bending. The lowest entry price in the VERTEX family with dual CSA + UL certification. Model 2550×140 includes powered back roll as standard.

SAE 1050 Steel Rolls
All VERTEX models use SAE 1050 certificated steel rolls — forged, induction-hardened, or certificated depending on tier. High tensile strength for consistent surface quality.
Conical Bending
Conical bending equipment is listed across the tiers. Confirm cone angle, material, minimum diameter, supports, and the selected model configuration; cylindrical capacity ratings do not establish cone capacity.
Brake Motor Precision
Brake motors assist controlled stopping. Repeatability still depends on setup, springback, operator practice, material consistency, and inspection of the finished part.
Mobile Control Panel
Every VERTEX includes a mobile control panel — repositionable for optimal operator visibility during setup and rolling cycles.
Drop-End Mechanism
Drop-end mechanisms assist cylinder removal. The 3H uses a hydraulic drop-end; 3HX, 3MA, and 3MB use manual mechanisms. Measure the complete loading, rolling, unloading, and inspection cycle for a throughput comparison.

VERTEX 3MA and 3MB models handle light-gauge sheet for round duct, spiral fittings, and HVAC housings. CSA + UL certification meets Canadian building code requirements for manufactured components.
Structural Fabrication
Rolled plate for columns, curved panels, and architectural metalwork. Select capacity by working width, material yield strength, target diameter, and required end preparation. Beam or profile bending requires suitable equipment and tooling.
Tank & Vessel Work
Tank and vessel shell applications require a job-specific capacity check. The 3H and 3MA tables list pre-bending ratings; remaining end flats, roundness, edge alignment, and weld fit-up require verification on the actual part.
Wire & Rod Bending
The VERTEX 3HX and 3MB include wire grooves on rolls as standard — ready for wire, rod, and small-diameter round stock bending without additional tooling.
Composite & Specialty Materials
The VERTEX 3MA offers an optional plastic-coated top roll for Alucobond and composite panel bending — the only VERTEX model with this capability. Extended roll shafts available for profile and pipe bending.
