Han's Laser · SL Series
SL-3015 · SL-4020 · Integrated CNC · Labor & Cost Savings
The SL Series is Han's Laser's semi-automated loading unit — the right first step out of full manual sheet handling. A welded gantry main frame carries a vacuum-suction truss with independent solenoid control for adaptive sheet pickup, fed continuously by a 4-tonne raw material truck on rails. Up to 40mm sheet thickness, 60 m/min beam travel, and integration with your Han's Laser fiber cutter's CNC. Lower capital than SLU full-automation; massively higher throughput than a forklift and a fab tech.

The SL Series integrates loading/unloading controls, automated feeding, CNC cutting, and material handling into one workflow — boosting efficiency, cutting labour and operating cost, while keeping operation simple and operator-friendly.
Every gantry component is welded from profiles using a four-stage process: weld, rough machine, vibration aging, then precision machine. The result solves stress caused by welding and machining — your gantry stays in tolerance long after the warranty period. The bridge beam carries a finely machined flat guide surface for the crossbeam to glide on.
The truss assembly carries the transmission mechanism, guide device, and bearings. Two servo motors drive the system: one moves the crossbeam forward and back; the other drives the material tray up and down. The truss travels horizontally along the gantry on cam bearings — fast, repeatable, low-maintenance.
A welded main frame carries the guidance-transmission system and the vacuum suction cups — each cup independently controlled by its own solenoid valve. The rig adapts to varying board dimensions for rapid, precise pickup. Travel-limit sensors and anti-collision devices guarantee secure lifting.
The automatic assembly line is fed by a 4-tonne raw material truck that moves on rails into and out of the loading position. Configurable as a feeder truck (replaces the material warehouse for low-cost automatic feeding) or as a sorting truck (centralizes finished workpieces and waste material) — your choice depending on shop layout and downstream sorting workflow.
Why SL Series
Full-process semi-automation at the lowest entry price in the Han's Laser automation lineup. Pays back through eliminated forklift handling, reduced operator headcount, and faster cycle time.
Loading-unit beam travel at 60 m/min, hoist at 8 m/min, sorting cart at 20 m/min. Your fiber laser cutter never waits on the truck.
Vacuum loading rated for sheet thicknesses up to 40 mm — unusually capable for an entry-tier system. Heavier plate handling than competitors at this capital point.
Each vacuum cup is independently solenoid-controlled, so the loading rig adapts gripping force to whatever sheet you load. Same rig, every common 3015 / 4020 format.
Travel-limit sensors and anti-collision devices on the lifting mechanism. CSA-aligned safety design — ready for Canadian shop-floor regulations and insurance.
RiseTek Machinery handles Canadian sales, on-site installation, system commissioning, operator training, and aftermarket support across Canada.

Process Overview
Raw sheet loaded onto the 4T truck. Truck rolls on rails into the loading position under the gantry.
Truss travels to position; vacuum cups engage with independent solenoid control. Anti-collision and travel-limit sensors verify safe lift.
Servo-driven crossbeam carries the sheet to the laser cutter bed. Tray descends, releases sheet, returns to home.
Cutter executes the program. Operator handles unloading and sorting (or upgrade to SLU for full-cycle automation).
